< strong > Creativity and expression of emotions with the exposure "Genuflexion" < / strong >

More than 20 Panamanian plastic artists have been united to express through different techniques filled with color, life and creativity in "Genumptizo," a pictorial exhibition that will be held up to May 2, 2023 at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery and with which the Association of Plastic Artists (APAP) and the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) celebrate World Art Day.

They are a total of 32 works, under different themes and styles of oil, acrylic, mixed and other with titles such as "Observing thought," "Paradise," "The Flight," "The Vigilance," "The Way," "Blue Dog Eyes," "" Sea enchantment "among others, which give a perfect stage for meeting citizenship with art.

The sample includes works by well-known figures from the Panamanian plastic arts such as Linda Maquívar, Jenny Mae Rodriguez, Luis Rudas, Mónica Pérez, Jiro Iguala, José María Olivella, among others, who decided to be part of this collective and to celebrate this ephemeric that pays tribute to Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci who was one of the great teachers of the Renaissance, famous painter, sculptor, architect, engineer and scientist.

"Panama as a member of the International Association of Plastic arts (AIAP) and represented by APAP, was represented at all these events of the proclamation of World Art Day with the aim of promoting art and its dissemination, which was held at the 40th meeting of the General Conference of the UNESCO in 2019," reiterated Luis Rodas, president of the Association of Plastic Artists of Panama.

The occasion was an opportunity for the APAP to give a symbolic recognition to entities and artists that through their programs and projects have supported and highlighted the work of the Panamanian artist as the National Bank of Panama and the company El Pinsel.

The trajectory and inputs of figures such as Noel Pinzzo, Peña Moran, Ruben Contreras, Dagoberto Chung, Manuel Oretes Nieto and Rigoberto Chu were also highlighted.

The exhibition "Genuflexion" will be available at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery of MiCultura that is located at San Felipe, within the building known as the Bóvedas. It has no entrance price and an opportunity to get to know more about the talent of our national artists.
