About 25 Panamanian writers, well-known bookstores and talented artists, celebrated the World Day of Children's Literature, Sunday, April 2nd at Albrook Mall, in honor of the lives of Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.

A place where children, youth and adults were able to express and learn from literature, including storyteller, storyteller, children's theater, puppet theater, music, dance exhibitions and sale of national editorials.

At the 4th Children and Youth Literature Festival, the Ministry of Culture, the Panamanian Academy of Children's Literature and the National Library gave an examination by the Organizing Committee to Patricia Alvarado, a cultural writer and manager for his dedicated course of more than 20 years in the production of children's and youth's books.

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué commended the work of the writer Patricia Alvarado and congratulated her for the great work of teaching and growing children, "bearing more than a hundred books is an extraordinary effort, that you have made."

The program began with the presentation of boys and girls from the Special Programme of the National Network of Orchestra and Youth Corks of Panama, celebrating Autism Day.

Following the coronation of the first princess of the Festival, as well as the presentation of talented young writers from the program 500 stories.

The presentation of the Pepina clown with children from the Children's and Youth Circle of Oral Narration, that between songs and stories, was a pleasure of the attending public.

The closing of the festival was with a tour of the boys and girls who participated in the poster parade presenting their posters, referred to reading and books.
