The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) informs all people interested in improving or starting with the art of writing that the period to participate in the Writer Training Program (PROFE) will be open and will start next April 1 from 9: 30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.
The registration can be made by writing to an adegrace @ MiCultura.gob.pa or by calling 524-0921 and contacting Aleyda Degrada.
Stakeholders can participate in the workshops with face to face and those who are abroad or inside the Republic will be given the Zoom platform.
The course of the PROFE will be held throughout the year and will be divided into two groups, the first from April 1 to July 22, with the workshops of Poesia por Héctor Collado; Essay, Rodolfo De Gracia and Guion, Manuel Rodriguez.
While the second begins on July 29th with the workshops of Counting by Consuelo Tomas, Novela, Alondra Badano, Teatro, Édgar Soberón Torchia and Creative Scripture, Erato Espino.
"The program aims at generating the capacity to appreciate, create, read, train, strengthen and encourage participants to create literature," said Aleyda Degrada, head of MiCultura's Letters.
The PROFE began in 2017 and since its creation has been outstanding for having specialist teachers, first-line professional experts, with a winner of the National Literature Prize, Ricardo Miró at the Teatro Section, among his graduates.
