The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) informs artists, cultural managers and communities at large that the call "Cenzontle," a window for Ibero-American native languages, "an initiative of the IberCultura Viva and Ibermemoria Sonora and Audiovisual programs that Panama forms part of through the National Cinema Directorate, is open.

The aim of this call is to make known and value the languages of peoples originating in the region and to promote their use and preservation. The projects to be submitted should be aimed at processes for the conservation, registration, research, dissemination, education, management or valuation of languages originating in the countries members of the programmes.

The interested persons have to atcredit the support and participation of the community to which the project's language belongs and they have to have an account of its history, its location, current context and its strategy to promote its use, value and preservation.

A winner's prize will be selected by member countries and an economic stimulus will be given to projects that have been completed and have been and have been put to good value and have been put to the use and preservation of the languages of peoples from Ibero-America.

IberCultura Viva (IberCultura Viva) is a programme of cooperation between local, state and national governments with a view to strengthening and visualizing the cultural diversity of Iberoamerica through public policy management and the development of community-based cultural actions.

Meanwhile, Ibermemoria Sonora and Audiovisual aims to implement models of identification, preservation and integral access to sound and audiovisual documentaries from Ibero-American countries.
