The director of French Orchestra, with a visit to Panama, Nathalie Marín will conduct free Orquestal leadership workshops next week in the province of Chiriquí, for professionals and music students revealed the Minister of Culture (MiCultura), Giselle González Villarrué.
The announcement was made during the conduct of the concert, "Destination of Women" held at the Balboa Theater and that was part of the events on the occasion of International Women's Day.
The Minister thanked the outstanding visitor for her time dedicated to teaching youth from the province of Chiriquí.
The training will be held from March 13th to 16th at the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí (UNACHI) and are part of the MiCultura's Travel Music program.
The workshops will be held from 8: 00 a.m. to 1: 00 p.m. and will close with a great concert on Friday, March 17 at the headquarters of the Chiricana University.
At the concert at the Balboa Theater, Nathalie Marín, who received the support of the French Embassy in Panama had the opportunity to conduct the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN), with the lyric soprano Nathalie Mannido and the Panamanian tenor José Álvarez Torres.
The public enjoyed an exceptional program, with works from the 19th-century Italian and French lyric repertoire, selected and inspired by love stories from opera heroines with pieces such as: La Bodas de Fígaro, La Traviata, Meditation of Thais Ave María and Butterfly, among others.
