"We reiterate the commitment and unconditional support of the Ministry of Culture so that the Panama Jazz Festival will continue with the educational plans and programs undertaken by the Foundation and have always been supported by this cultural house," stated the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, at the gala concert at the Anayansi Theater at the Atlapa Convention Center.

The incumbent of Culture commended Danilo Pérez's work, his efforts, his commitment and his vision and his team that have been with him for 20 years, and mentioned that "it's a heroic task that has turned our country into a reference for cultural tourism with the participation of thousands of visitors from all latitudes."

The words of the highest cultural authority were accompanied by one of the videos of the "Music Transforms Us" campaign that shows the stories of musicians from the Orchestra Network and how this network has affected their lives and their family environment.

Erika Ender and Danilo Pérez with Jhon Pasticci and Brian Blade from the trio Children of the Light have been offering a great concert that was a pleasure of the attendees.

The event was preceded by a red carpet with guest artists and government and private company authorities that join with the projects run by the Danilo Pérez Foundation and with a vispous and artisan beacon with a number of Panamanian crafts.

The Panama Jazz Festival Gala concert has as its priority to raise funds for the educational programs of the Danilo Pérez Foundation.
