MiCultura visited Martin Lutter King School, San Miguelito

To celebrate "Student's Day" the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the national leadership of Cultural Rights and Citizenship organized a special event at the Martin Lutter King School of San Miguelito.
Instructors and technicians at the Ministry of Culture participated in the program with hundreds of boys and girls who belong to the project "Art as an intervention and social transformation tool."
Lastenia González, co-ordinator of Community Culture at the national leadership of Cultural Rights and Citizenship at MiCultura, said that this program aims to intervene and strengthen soft and aptititidous skills in children, through art, to put them away from violence and to enhance their artistic talents for better citizen co-existence.
The program included stories, modern dance Nicole Dasent and Josbel Sierra with live music, José Lisbey at guitar and Melanie Taylor at violin and ended with the congo dance by Delfín Hernández and Nicole Dasan
