With his painting exhibitions, "El Renacer de la Figuración," by Victor Bruce's office and by his painting, called "Marley at the Alma de Pachamama," by Víctor Álvarez, his "Visual Arts Fest 2022" was launched by the Ministry of Culture on Tuesday, October 5.
The event that takes place through the national direction of Las Artes has as its headquarters the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery located at the Casco Antiguo.
The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) also supports the collective "Fingers of Hope" exhibition of youth in conflict with the Penal Law and their workshop instructor. Under this initiative, youth interns have shown that art can also be a means of expressing their inner world, amidst their social reintegration.
A total of 12 youth from the Las Garzas Compliance Centre and from the Women's Custody and Residential Compliance Centre participated.
That's an activity of self-management whose income would have been distributed to inmates and the management of penal establishments for the purchase of inputs for the acquisition of inputs used by the Institute of interdisciplinary studies (IEI).
