To strengthen opportunities for inclusion of persons with disabilities, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the addresses of Cinema and Equal Opportunities, held a workshop entitled "Science and awareness-raising for young people of school age, through cinema."
The workshop was held with students from the School of Japan with the aim of building a culture of inclusion and acceptance.
The day was attended by 60 students from first to sixth grade, of whom fourteen had different disabilities, with an audiovisual vision showing different disabilities and their characteristics and how we can contribute and assist these people.
The aim of this initiative is to reach out to public and individual schools and to communities with the support of local boards, using audiovisual art as a tool to create a culture of inclusion and empathy for persons with disabilities at the national level from childhood.
