Cultural Expressions stand out at pollera congo Festival

The authorities of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) met at the 5th pollera congo Festival at Portobelo where they were paid tribute to our African roots with different performance and artistic points.
Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture, also participated in the panga tour of Portobelo Bay, bearing his own attire of the region, a tour that departed at Fort Santiago la Gloria accompanied by the highest tourist authority Ivan Eskildsen.
That event with tiled tiled with flowers and colorful flags symbolizes the arrival of the cimarones to the colonial coasts and thus recreates something from the history of the place. Another of the most precious attractions is the gastronomic proposal specialized in seafood and traditional plates prepared by the locals.
