MiCultura's artistic program to celebrate the 503 years of Old Panama's Founding

MiCultura joined with the celebration of the 503 years of the Founding of Panama City and prepared for August 13 and 14 an extensive and varied agenda of cultural, folk and academic and knowledge-promotion activities aimed at the family as a whole.

The contribution of MiCultura began on Saturday August 13th by providing a space for 20 artisan to market their products as crafts, jewelry, hats, cuttings, shackles, tights, dregs for the house, tights for tights, biscuits, plants and others.

Also at Torre de la Catedral, the public have been able to taste different meals and beverages at affordable prices.

It should be noted that one of the most visited Stand was that of MiCultura, where the family painted and drawn from the ruins of Old Panama, to drawings and painting of their favorite characters accompanied with music and an excellent recreational atmosphere.

According to the agenda at the artistic stage at the Plaza Mayor they will conduct the Luisben Silva Orchestra and its sonometer as well as the presentation of the Network of Orchestra and Youth Chors of Panama, run by teacher Electra Castillo

Giselle González, Villarrúe, Minister of Culture, stated that this is how the institution accompanies this great celebration of Old Panama "giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to show their artisan jobs from different regions of the country, promoting creative industries," she said.

"Old Panama is part of the history of Panama, that's about a flourishing colonial town, about the start of the great town we have today," added the title of Culture.
