Photographic exhibition relates daily to persons deprived of their liberty at Panamanian prisons

The Deputy Minister of Culture (MiCultura) Gabriel González participated in the opening of the photo exhibition "From My Inner," organized by the "Fundación Viniste A Mí," jointly with the Ministry of Government and in collaboration with photographer Grey Diaz, who shows stories of those deprived of their liberty from Panamanian prisons.

The exhibition with 35 photographs document the daily number of persons deprived of their liberty at La Joya, La Joyita, Mega Joya, El Renacer, Rehab Centre for Women "Cecilia Orillac de Chiari and the Detention Centre" Tinejitas.

At the opening event of the exhibition that can be appreciated between 8: 00 a.m. and 4: 00 p.m. at the central square of the Ministry of Government, the deputy ministers Juana López, the national director of the penitentiary system, Euclides Castillo and the director of the Foundation came To Me, Joshua Della Sera, who received from photographer Díaz details of each of the photographs.

Grey Diaz, a well-known Panamanian photographer, stated that "it's good to contribute with my art and professionalism, as with this photo documentation we seek light from each and every one of them, to show the positive side and hope, as we all deserve a second opportunity."
