With the choreography "A new world" of the Tribu Performance group that had as its stage the Food Court of Alta Plaza Mall began the National Conference of Dances 2022, that includes staging and workshops at the theatres Anita Villalaz, Balboa, National and other public spaces with free and other entrance and with motionary prices and that will end on 26 August.
"A new world is a vertical dance, with harness from 10 meters high, where three aerologists recreate the fact about the beings that are in that new world and that start to fly to discover new things that see the world from other perspectives, through abstract postures and choreographies that sometimes show the risk of putting their feet on the ground, on a wall, in heaven, that desire to float," Eleonora Dall'asta, creator of this piece.
The public enjoyed the acrobatic skills and soft movements of this staging that challenges force, dynamic and gravity in an open space where the art of being suspended gives the spectator the sensation that danzants float and take the air as a stage.
Dall'asta advanced that on August 23 there will be another presentation called "Arbórea" that is also an aerial dance performed within a greenhouse and that can be seen virtual through the youtube of MiCultura.
"Our mission as artists within this dance event organized by MiCultura is to contribute or interplay with our art at non-conventional locations, outside a roof, to elevate dance to other levels," she added.
He assured that it's a way "to connect dance with the public, who should come out and support local artists, applaud what we are doing for art," added the aerolist.
The Danza meeting's agenda will continue at 7 p.m. with La Casa de Stepannie Lee on Thursday, 11 August and with its workshop: The technique of Flemish dance with Panama's Flemish Company at 10 a.m., tickets at eventbrite, both at the Anita Villalaz Theater.
That same day, the "Collective 5th Essence," will be at 8: 00 p.m. and will be presenting "Me In Me" at the Balboa Theater. On Saturday, the 13th will be appreciated through the Youth of MyCulture "Walpurgis Night" at 8: 00 p.m. with the National Ballet and closing the weekend, on Sunday, at the Anita Villalaz Theater, from 6: 00 p.m., the "Flemish Company of Panama," will be presenting the show "Flamenco in Two."
