MiCultura Announces National Retirement of Musical Composition Roque Cordero 2022

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) announced the results of the five categories to qualify as part of the National Music Composition Competition, Roque Cordero version 2022.
In the category Solo was triumphant Daniel Fernando Oropeza Espinoza with his composition "Retracting from the Present" and at Coro, his winner was Erick Parris Browne with his work "Bramido" and at Casa, Emiliano Pardo Tristan with his work "The Echo That We Be" and at Orquesta Symphónica, Samuel Ivan Emmanuel Robles with his inspiration "The Martirio of Francisca de Carbajal."
The category of Symphony Band that was also part of the Roque Cordero contest was declared desert by the Jury as none of the works submitted in this category were at the level of the remaining genres.
The qualifying jury that was composed of Orquestas director Nathalie Marín of French nationality and Spanish master Josep Roda and Costa Rican Mauricio páez awarded an Honour Mention in the category House to espley Xavier Castillo Funes for his composition, "Quintanto para metal."
He served as a notary at this event to evaluate his work and represented by the Ministry of Culture and his national director, Isabel Burgos.
