MiCultura supports actions at Guna Yala

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, received from her office the deputy of the region Guna Yala, Petite Ayarza with whom she exchanged issues related to actions that can be undertaken in the region such as cultural tourism and the Visibilization of the culture Guna Yala.

At the request of MEP Ayarza, the Minister of Culture, González Villarrué, who was accompanied by his deputy and secretary general, José Ismael Herrera expressed his willingness to support the Guna people.

The incumbent of Culture emphasized, among other things, that UNESCO approved to MiCultura the conduct of workshops with experts that will explain the methodology for securing funds to conduct activities that are framed in the decade of indigenous peoples and the conservation of mother tongues.

Reg. Ayarza expressed an interest in touristically exploiting sites known as "community museums" for what they consider to be important MiCultura's support.
