Music by mejorana will be present in Spain

Panama will be present in Spain at the festivals of the "Canto de Poetas" of Villanueva de Tapia in Málaga and that of "Poesía Oral Improvisada," Trovalia in Cartagena de Murcia with the representation of Panamanian musician José Augusto Broce, who will participate with Trovators from several countries of Iberoamerica.

José Augusto Broce is a well known "teacher" of the mejorana and the violin (folklore) that currently through his teaching in the project "Peasant Heritage" promotes the music of the violin and the mejorana, instructing more than 80 children and youth in the provinces of Veraguas and Herrera.

Previously, Broce has represented the country at several international meetings of the 10th and the Improvisado verse and has been invited by musicians from other countries to conduct recordings or share stage at different presentations.

The participation of Professor Broce in Spain will be from July 29th to 31st at the Villanueva de Tapia and from August 4th to 6th at Cartagena de Murcia.
