MiCultura supports future Penonomé artists

Contributing to the formation of a new generation of artists, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) once again joined the National Government's Community Work Tour (GTC) to give benefits to children and youth who have decided to enjoy and love the different disciplines of art.

On this tour led by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, for the second time, Retirement and wind tools were given to future musicians who currently develop their artistic skills within the Penonomé music module of the Panama Youth Orchestra and Chorus Network.

Also, young people from the Center for Higher Studies of Fine Arts and Folklore (CESBAF) in this district received plastic arts materials so that they can continue their pictorial works.

Also, MiCultura gave handmade accreditation cards and an recognition of the category of "master artisan" to María Francisca Mendoza and Brenda García last for his nearly 30-year experience with production of folkloric accessories and sharing this knowledge through seminars and workshops.

It should be noted that at each GTC, Panama's Network of Orchestra and Youth Choirs will be responsible for the cultural part, where at every place visited, the members of the module for the site will be able to prove their talents.
