MiCultura presents advances from the Reina Torres Anthropological Museum of Araúz

Social communicators participated as part of the "International Day of Museums" to get them to know about the progress of the works that have been undertaken at Reina Torres Museum in Arauz at Plaza 5 de Mayo.

The tour was organized by the national direction of museums of the Ministry of Culture and was conducted by Anayansi Chicpacho, national director and Javier Edwards, architect in charge of the work by MiCultura, who gave an explanation about the scope of the work, its investment, how the rooms will be divided, that will contain each and at what phases will be opened.

That work was 35% advanced and was estimated to be ready for the second quarter of 2023 and represented an investment of 14.7 million dollars financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (BID).

"One of the initiatives that are being undertaken to continue with the celebration of the Day of Museums is an open day for Panamanian and foreign public through reservations so that people know about the advance of the project, familiarize with what will have the museum and of course they will visit us next year at the opening is a museum," Chicpacho said.
