MiCultura CELEBRA 500 YEARS FUNCATION FROM NATA

The Balboa Theater was stage this 12 and 13 and of May of the presentation of the National Ballet on occasion of its 50 years of creation and also the 500 years of Founding of Natá de Los Knights District in the province of Coclé.

The participants at this double celebration gala enjoyed the premiere of "Grand Pas de Paquita," the "Stations of Vivaldi" and other cultural expressions.

During the special evening, Minister of Culture Giselle González Villarrué, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen congratulated the people of Natariego, the Organizing Committee of the celebration and the authorities for the motivation, commitment and dedication they have put into all events and activities that have been undertaken.

Natah de Los Knights was founded by the Spanish on May 20, 1522 and is the second oldest town on the Pacific coast, outgrown only by the town of Panama founded in 1519.

The event was also attended by Lidia Chiari, deputy mayor of the Natá District, Rodrigo Pérez, president of the Municipal Council and Luis Ernesto Carles, deputy of the circuit and Francisco De León, regional director of MiCultura at Coclé and Gloria Barrios, director of the National Ballet, among others.
