With "guided tours," the public will be able to get to know about the advances of the restoration works that are made at the building of the Reina Torres de Araúz Anthropological Museum (MARTA) and that forms part of the activities scheduled in the months of the Museums.
Anayansi Chichaca, national director of museums at the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) explained that the opening of the MARTA during these two days aims to interest visitors about the current state of restoration, what are the projections and know the story that's been told at this museum.
The MARTA Building is currently undergoing restoration to give nationals and foreigners an opportunity to get to know our story after being closed for about 24 years.
In the month, 18 May have been chosen as International Museums Day and that day, special events will be held to celebrate the date in each country.
