MINISTRA GONZÁLEZ VILLARRUÉ LAMA A GREMOS A UNABORATION TO RULES REGIONAL LEY OF CULTURE

The Minister of Culture (MiCultura) Giselle González Villarrué in meeting with representatives of 18 artistic, cultural and collective management associations announced that the process of drafting the regulations of the General Law of Culture adopted in 2020 will be initiated.
It was to be hoped that by the end of next December, executive decrees that regulated the law should be drafted and had been delayed, as that Regulation had to be adopted six months after its adoption.
To achieve a consensus document, MiCultura called for different trade unions to participate at the work tables and meet the established time target at the end of this year.
Enrique Noel, national director of Cultural Rights and Citizenship at MiCultura, explained that these are a variety of issues, and so there will be work tables by area, and that will result in the production of several proposals for executive decrees that include a governmental and civil society vision.
The representatives of the trade unions that participated in the meeting presented to the incumbent of MiCultura his or her position with respect to cultural policies and also agreed to join the process of drafting the regulations of the General Law on Culture.
