COLLONENIES RECEIVEN EXPOSITION "TOTALKING FURTHER" ORGANIZED BY MiCultura

For the third time, an inclusive travelling exhibition "Tocando Learning" was shown to the public, this time at the headquarters of the Regional University Centre of Colón, where 11 high and low-emphasized works by Daniel Cubillas were palpated by people with visual disabilities, who had the opportunity to palpate and describe the contents of his paintings.

The exhibition organized by the Office of Equal Opportunities of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) had the plastic artist put at the disposal of MiCultura his works with mixed techniques, acrylic plate and oil in relieves, entitled "My heart in Flamas," "Breaking the Chain of Communication," "Karatecas Flaming" and "Proceres" among others.

"Playing Learning" is an answer that is given to people with visual disabilities to break with the practice that states that at exhibitions we cannot palpate the exposed pieces as their title is written in "Braille" and allows them to know about the issue of a work.

The regional director of MiCultura at Colón, Rudy Rodriguez emphasized that with this type of exhibitions we have shown that having a type of disability isn't an obstacle to their daily lives and invited the community to take advantage of the opportunity these spaces offer.

At the opening of the exhibition, the coordinator of the Colón chapter of the National Association of People with Visual Disabilities, Eva Morales, participated.
