MiCultura INstigates TO PARTICIPATE IN CONCURSO GUSTAVO BATISTA CEDEÑO

To stimulate literary creativity, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) appeals to national poets under the age of 35 to participate in the Gustavo Batista Cedeño Young Poetry Competition, with its registration period open up to May 31 this year.
A Panamanian person may participate in this literary contest by birth or by naturalization, resident or outside his or her country, who at the date of his or her final contest have been less than his or her age.
The interested parties have to put forward an original and unpublished poemary as a whole and have been rewarded at other competitions and have been participating in another contest and belong to a single complainant.
The winner will be awarded a unique prize of B / 5,000 pat, a scroll and 70 copies (75) of his work. The prize can be declared a desert if, at the majority of the jury's decision, the participating works do not have the literary quality.
The topic's free and each poemary will have a minimum of 250 verses. The poems will be presented with individual titles and will be received until May 31 at 4: 00 p.m. interested parties should consult the bases at https: / / MiCultura.gob.pa / concurss-- and -conjunctions /
That prize was established in 1992 to honor the memory of the poet Gustavo Batista Cedeño and have since been outstanding authors as: Héctor Collado, Porfirio Salazar, Javier Alvarado, Genaro Villalaz, Magdalena Camargo lemieszek and Jaiko Jiménez among others.
