MINISTRA GISELLE GONZÁLEZ SELECCIONADA as A WINNER DETAINED FROM THE YEAR 2022 IN CULTURE CATEGORIA

Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture was elected from the 25 most outstanding women of Panama 2022, in the category Culture, project of the Editorial Group El Siglo and la Estrella (GESE) that recognizes and emphasizes the contribution of Panamanian women.

"It's an enormous responsibility to continue modeling with an example, to be referred to that youth that every day becomes more present and opens up with more spaces of strong, secure and determined voices," stated the incumbent of Culture at his receipt of the distinction.

"To be chosen twice in the same year has been an enormous satisfaction and a great responsibility to be able to model many girls, many young people and women to be an example and I think that's the main thing that you put at work, that you do for your country," stated Minister González Villarrué.

The president of the GESE Group, Eduardo Quiros stated "to tell the stories of all those women who have a significant influence on our society serve to honor those with a long track record, to empower the youth and to show that the path is open to all those who decide to step forward to transform our country."

"More than 1,500 women have been nominated as outstanding in their course areas and have been spotted with their performance. Just these processes are already a recognition," added Quiros.
