The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) once again reaffirms its support for the 11-year version of the FAE 2022 International Festival of Escenic Arts, to be held with face to face from April 5 to 10, 2022, at different locations in Panama City in memory of the dancer, choreographer and teacher Vielka Chú.
Gabriel González, Vice Minister of Culture, invited the Panamanian community to enjoy the presentations and training spaces offered by the FAE "and recognized the work, tenacity and commitment to art by its organizers and assured them that the doors of theatres and cultural spaces, under the administration of My Culture, will always be open."
The FAE 2022 will offer 6 days with the best of the theater and dance of the world, in seven rooms and other spaces of the city, such as the National Theater, the City of Knowledge Ateneo, Anita Villalaz Theater and the GECU Multiuse Study at the University of Panama.
It will also offer training activities as a face-to-face and an art afternoon free of charge with the segment of the FAE outdoors from Cathedral Square.
Producciones de Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, España, Estados Unidos, France, Mexico, Panama and Portugal are part of the program for this festival.
The Panamanian representations cannot miss and start with the monologue Corzo Delador - an original work by Edgar Allan Poe, The work RED, collective creation directed by Renan Fernández, by the Samón Group, the staging of La Beast, written and directed by Roy Williams, and RE: VERSIONS, by Javier Stanziola directed by him. and ending with the national fringe, the presentation of the work La Casa de Bernarda Alba, by Federico García Lorca, directed by Renan Fernández and by the malstabbed Company.
The works presented at this edition cover issues of social impact and relevance to the reality of the country and the region and the world.
