MiCultura closes successful course "Write, Publish and Vende"

Panama, 5 May 2020. With the dissemination of the third module of "Write, Publica and Vende," the Ministry of Culture successfully closed a virtual course aimed at awaking the interest of new writers to create their literary materials.

Carlos Oriel Wynter Melo, a facilitator of this dynamic and representing the Ministry of Culture, expressed his appreciation for the Panamanian interest in supporting the initiative while explaining the dynamics of this module that are available on the MiCultura's website and on the Ministry's Youtube Canal.

On this third and final virtual class, Wynter Melo adds: "Once the paper has been framed as a novel, tale, article or essay and structured to become a book, it's time to publish it."

The third module explain how to define who will be your reader and where to find him? how can you get to designers who develop portages and interiors? What ways do you have to print your book or make it known as an electronic book? how to attract people to your publication? how can you get charged for selling the book? and what online platforms do you have to display it for sale?

"Let us use this time to get to know our new literary talents, who in their free time and through the pandemic we are living in, can participate, finish and have an opportunity to market their books through the Internet with the support of the Ministry of Culture," reiterated the course's facilitator.

The situation we have been through with the Coronavirus puts us at a crucial moment where we have to give our hands to those who need them most, including the formal and informal sectors of culture, the fine arts and entertainment that require our attention within the Panama Solidarity Plan. We will all have to contribute to this war and we will gain it.
