The Cathedral's square housed for the tenth occasion the bazaar called "Mercadito Artesanal" that is a space that offers the office of the Casco Antiguo (OCA) of the Ministry of Culture to artisan to offer his designs to Panamanian and foreign people that visit this historic centre.
Julissa Espinoza, co-ordinator of Social and Cultural Projects at OCA expressed that there is complacency among the family of the Ministry of Culture for achieving that a project such as this has been sustained in time independently of the government administration at his turn.
The Crafts Market has become a window for Panamanian artisan, including samples of the Guna Yala, to have an opportunity to show their best and original creations to national and foreign tourists, Espinoza added.
The attendees were also able to enjoy the gastronomic offer of another project that promotes the OCA as "Taste of My Barrio" that offered several plates by members of the program and that reside in the cordments next to the Casco Antiguo.
