The work is an architect of the compilers and researchers Ela Urriola, Javier Alvarado and Marco Ponce, "who put themselves into the patriotic task of recovering that past from a generation to which all Panamanians owe them an inspiring legacy," remarked Aguilar Navarro.

In his statement, Minister Aguilar Navarro emphasized the role of the 58 generation as "fruitful in proposals, approaches, ideas and thought," and this became clear from his reading of the pages of his book that allows his first creative steps to be seen from talented men and women who soon after would be an immense beacon of Panamanian letters.
He recognized figures such as José Manuel Bayard Lerma, Enrique Chuez, Arnoldo Diaz Wong, Griselda López, Roberto Luzcando, Julio César Moreno Davis, Moravia Ochoa López, Ramiro Ochoa López, Ramón Ovio, Bertalicia Peralta, Dimas Ridio Pitty, Benjamin Ramón, Ornel Urriola Marcucci, César Young Núñez and all those who have left their legacy at the mymographed pages that have transcended decades and that have built the path to our self-determination.
