MiCultura introduces' A True Hero 'amidst the pandemic

"A true Hero, this isn't a tale," is the name of the book that was submitted today at the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), whose impression was thanks to the Electoral Tribunal's support, about children amidst the covid 19 pandemic.

That exemplary didactic relates to a story told from a child's point of view and that has been written by the Panamanian model and entrepreneur Viera Algandona, with the collaboration of Víctor Murga and Gregory Manrique, two producers who have also been added to this interesting project.

History relates to the love, courage, magic, illusion, union and strength of its main characters, at times of a pandemic, and with an emphasis on the different heroes that were in the first line, heroes with true super powers such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, police, firemen, messengers, grocery boxes and news reporter NOTICOVID, among others.

Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture at the event expressed "the importance of this child's book is that it exposes through stories, all the situations that we have been through as a Panamanian society, around the pandemic, this work is a record of a historic moment very difficult for all and especially that contributes to enaltecer and to highlight the heroic work of many people that with their efforts have helped to advance the country."

For his part Viera Algaldona emphasized "these aren't always about resources and more about the will to do things, we are all creative and capable and soon we will meet again to finish the second part of this book."

"That wonderful tale is told by Teo, an 8-year-old Panamanian child who will leave them with a great teaching and show the feeling of a true hero, but from home," says Viera Algandona, author of his work.

The book will be distributed at the Colmena Readings Center, public libraries of the country, communal boards and summer activities with youth from different neighborhoods.
