Unlimited art in 'Inclusive Gala 2021'

The Ministry of Culture, at the framework of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Panama of Spain and in commemoration of 3 December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, held an Inclusive Gala, at its third edition.

One of the main aims of this activity is to promote the creativity and talent of people with disabilities by complying with national and international standards from a human rights perspective.

Just as to show to the public how diversity expressed through art and culture put into play by people with different forms of disabilities, showing that art can break up any physical or attidnal barrier and enjoyed by all.

"The 3 of December is an enabling date to promote the rights, development and well-being of persons with disabilities in all areas of society," said Jorge Morales, National Director of the Office of Equal Opportunities at MiCultura.

The date also serves to raise awareness about the situation of persons with disabilities with regard to the political, social, economic and cultural aspects of his or her life. The Ministry of Culture, through his or her Office for Equal Opportunities, represented this event at the National Theater with the aim of promoting the cultural rights of persons with disabilities by encouraging their inclusion, presence and participation in cultural offer.

At this issue, the ceremonial teachers were the Dolande brothers, the speaker, speaker, writer, dj and motiador, Juan Manuel Dolante, best known as "Juangi" and journalist and model Katy Dolande.
