Deaf people visit Museum of Contemporary Art

The Ministry of Culture, through its Office of Equal Opportunities, conducted a guided tour with Spanish sign language interpreting to the Museum of Contemporary Art as part of its activities to commemorate the International Week of Sordas,

The course was followed by his deputy ministers, Gabriel González and his head of Equal Opportunities, Jorge Morales and a deaf and personal person from the Ministry of Culture.

It was a total of eight people with hearing disabilities who enjoyed the experience of meeting the Contemporary Museum of Panama.

That group of people was able to appreciate the collection at the museum as works by Panamanian and international artists as: Milko Delgado, Giana de Dier and Yohna Granados and Laura Fong and Prosper and Rodrigo Dada and Paola Paz.

The museum is located at Ancón, Calle San Blas, and will be open to the public from Friday to Sunday from 10: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m., for free but if with guided tours it will have a value of B / .5.00.

The MAC has a modern cafeteria and library where you can find book sales from B /. 1.00 pat to B /. 60.00 pat.
