DIRECTORATE ON THE BICENTENARY ACTIVITIES TO THE FREE Mast DIARY

The Minister of Culture and president of the National Commission for the Bicentennial of Panama's Independence of Spain, Carlos Aguilar Navarro visited a meeting with directors of the daily Metro Libre with the aim of information about the activities scheduled for the 200 years of this independent event.

During the meeting, the incumbent of the Cultural portfolio stated that his aim was "to have a positive and optimistic approach, to put him to gain and to get up his country." That meeting was to report about the activities that have been scheduled on the path to the date of the bicentennial, next November 28 the Minister added.

At the meeting, Minister Aguilar Navarro put forward achievements and advances of MiCultura's projects in his two years of government and put forward an account of what the Commission's been doing about these 200 years.

For his part, Mario Lara General Editor of Metro Libre stated that the daily Metro Libre is "ready to get a date great, as there are activities for all sorts of tastes. We want to strengthen and share activities that have to do with bientennial and to be able to give citizens a range of possibilities, the choices are many and they will be able to see them on our digital platforms," she noted.

To date, 162 cultural activities have been undertaken among them: forums, book publications, concerts with Central American embassies, production for radio novels, supplements, logo contest, program launches, crafts workshops, contiguations, academic activities and national competitions, among others.

The rotary was accompanied by an executive manager, Alejandro Alemán and his director, James Aparicio, while Minister Aguilar Navarro was accompanied by Commissioner Griselda López.
