Teatrists ready for their 2021 festival

More than 30 presentations will be part of the Theater Festival that will be held from Monday, September 13th to Friday, October 1st at different theatres and auditoriums as part of the Annual Operating Plan of the Ministry of Culture to promote the arts as a whole.
During the conduct of the Festival, 16 productions will be presented, some for adult and some for children's and youth audiences, with ten face-to-face sets, three virtual sets and three dramatized readings that can be seen through the networks of the Ministry of Culture.
The list of works to be put into scenes includes: "Héctor Gallezo, the great master," "El Sepelio," "The colonel has no person to write to him," "La Beast," "Nassa," "Don Crajo de La Mar," "The myth of gravity: a small act of social perversion," "Living Life," "Bridezilla," "an enemy of the people" and more.
They will also participate 14 training sessions about different areas related to performing arts, some of them virtual and some with free entrance.
There will also be workshops with themes such as "La importancia del Teatro Universitario," "Usema de la mara negra en el escuela para adultias," "Expresmiento Vocal," "Construcción de una persona por mediante el objeto inanimado," "Teatro indígena de Panama" and "Dramaturgia documentaria," among others.
For Daniel Domínguez, National Director of The Arts, the aim of this activity is to "promote the creation, circulation, mobility and presentation of theatrical works in Panama as an incentive to the creation and stage and public training.
The Civil Music Festival held in July with a total attendance of 6,383 viewers, the National Dance Conference held in August with a call for 3,200 people and from September 13th to October 1st will be the National Theater Festival, are three actions that have been undertaken this year by the national leadership of The Arts of MiCultura.
The following months will have new activities such as the National Festival of Visual Arts and the National Meeting of Literature. Those interested in these activities have to follow the social networks of the Ministry of Culture.
