The School of Dances celebrates its 73-year Founding

With a feature involving about 100 dancers at the virtual platforms, the National School of Dances of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) will hold its 73-year-old Foundation this September 8.
To coincide with the celebration of the Bicentennial of Spanish Panama's Independence, the virtual gala will be held at 7: 00 at night and will be broadcast by you at MiCultura.
The national director of the School of Dance, Iguandili López, recalled that it was on September 8, 1948 that the institution was established training children and youth in this discipline, an initiative that was regarded as excellent because more and more are interested in improving this art.
He added that, despite the health situation caused by Covid 19, his work continued with the care of youth with the support of his teaching body and his goal of promoting the development of dance in Panama.
He expressed his commitment to continue to work to rescue the Youth Ballet, far more now that his own space will be available in the City of The Arts that is one of the goals of the MiCultura administration that ministers Carlos Aguilar Navarro stated.
