In commemoration of the Bicentennial of Panama of Spain, Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture as president of the Bicentennial Commission, was presented with an Annual Registration Insignia 2021-2022 of the National Association of Scouts of Panama (ASNP), in which this non-governmental organization joins this historic date.
At this launch of his annual registration emblem, the regent of the Cultural portfolio was given his distinctive scout on a shirt from his uniform that distinguished his members from his collective and a pin as an honorary person from the ASNP.
The highest cultural authority with an address to the scout members who have been summoned expressed their satisfaction that they have taken into account the bientennial to create a commemorative feature of this year, "I urge them to continue to cooperate with us in all the activities we are about to have. The commission is also divided into subcommittees and one of them dedicated to youth that I would like to invite them to participate with so we will give you information so that you will join them, because surely you will have many interesting ideas that we can put into practice by November."
You would be an important pillar for the work of the youth commission, an work that you have been performing historically, we reiterate our gratitude for being part of the bientennial and for all the work they do for the youth of the country and congratulate them for all their efforts so that we can have a more equitable nation and make available the support from the Ministry of Culture for their activities, "Always ready!" remarked Aguilar Navarro.
Vinicius Pimentel, president of ASNP emphasized that it's a matter of pride as we commemorate the two-hundredth anniversary of the Republic, the scouts of Panama we wish to highlight this sacrifice that good action that work that takes place daily with youth and neighbor, we are living the most violent pandemic time at a global level, where we have worked as a team to help the most vulnerable give them that word of encouragement and solidarity support, on November 28 we will be serving 107.
The scout movement gives young people an open-air education with tools for them to develop and complement their future lives. That's a commitment to our country by working with this great volunteer that results in men and women with values, principles and that wisdom that's the legacy of our leader BP and with his heart filled with emotion we launch our Annual Registration Insignia to commemorate this historic date.
During this activity at MiCultura headquarters, the Minister of Culture had an opportunity to give well-deserved recognition to young people who have been outstanding during this age of pandemic to develop projects to assist the most vulnerable families during this age of COVID.
As part of the Bicentennial Commission at this event, Commissioners Griselda López and Enrique De Obarrio were also present and received the new scout registration information.
