MiCultura and Metropolitan Natural Park interested in bringing together environmental efforts

The Ministry of Culture undertook a courtesy visit to the Metropolitan Natural Park to show progress with the City of the Arts project and to propose an Environmental Cultural Complex.

Following this meeting, the directors of the ministry and the management of the Metropolitan Natural Park expressed an interest to sign an agreement between the two institutions with a view to bringing together their efforts to preserve both culture and environment.

The teams of the Ministry of Culture and the Metropolitan Natural Park have opened the agenda to exchange criteria and ideas for the future construction of this cultural complex that will respect and preserve the environmental spaces of the area where the project will be undertaken.

Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro told the management team of the Metropolitan Natural Park that within the project there will be access roads dedicated to the City of the Arts that achieve natural connections through trails, always seeking to protect the forest as part of the ecosystem.

"It's about talking and bringing together efforts to work together and have clear the goal of always preserving the environment," emphasized Aguilar Navarro.

Likewise, both the ministry and the park's directive agreed to communicate projects with an impact on the environment to both communities and to key actors with an impact on the environment through information tools that report responsibly about how these initiatives have been advanced.
