Panama moves to the rhythm of dance: National Meeting will bring together artists from September 1 to 15

Panama, August 31, 2026. - The dance will take place from 1 to 15 September with the National Dance Meeting (END), an initiative of the Ministry of Culture that will bring together seven national dance companies and communities that will have 10 shows in a program that combines contemporary dance, flamenco, acrobatic dance, performance and experimental proposals with free functions and performances at affordable prices.
For 15 days, the public will be able to come closer to different forms of dance in spaces such as the Aurea "Baby" Torrijos Theater, in the City of the Arts, the Ateneo Theater, in the City of Knowledge, and the Balboa Theater and the Colón Center of Art and Culture.
The proposal aims to extend access to performing arts and to create spaces for national talent to present their creations to different public.
Among the proposals of the program are "Flamenzo de Lorca," by Flamenzo Panama, that will bring to the stage of the Teatro Ateneo the strength and expressivity of the Flemish on Friday, September 4, at 8: 00 p.m., while "Geometrics of the Invisible," by La Tribu Performance and the National Theater Board, will combine movement and creation at a performance accompanied by a workshop, on Saturday, September 5, at 4: 00 p.m., at the foreground of the Teatro Bebe and Torrijos lobby.
The program will also reach Colón with "AcroDivertimento," from the Panamanian Acrobatic Dance Company Acrosociety, on September 7, at 7: 00 p.m. at the Colón Center of Art and Culture. To this proposal are added "The Body That We Living," from the Collection E-Klectico, September 10, and "DE / MI - DERMIS," by Stephanie Lee with an idea of Carla Mabel Lozano, September 11 and "1MM," at TA's Contemporary Theater, September 14.
The END aims at an accessible program. Some functions will be free of charge, including Flamenzo de Lorca and The Body we have been living with, while others will have general prices of between B / .5.00 and B / .10.00, such as AcroDivertimento, DE / MI - DERMIS and 1 MM ².

With this initiative, the Ministry of Culture continues to promote spaces for the creation and circulation of performing arts, bringing dance proposals to diverse public and strengthening the presence of this discipline as part of the cultural offer of the country.
