Cultural managers and performing artists from Panama will have access to IBERESCENA international funds

Panama, June 17, 2026. Cultural managers, companies, producers, festivals, performing spaces and professionals of Panama's performing arts have an opportunity to participate in the IBERESCENA regular call 2026-2027, an international cooperation program that offers financial support to promote projects of theater, dance, circus, living arts and other performing expressions at Ibero-American level.
As an IBERESCEN member country, Panama can propose to the different aid lines that have been authorized in this edition and that seek to strengthen artistic creation, mobility, co-production and the circulation of performing projects in the region.
To guide those interested in the posting process, Iberescenna will conduct an open virtual training next Thursday June 18 at 9: 00 a.m. (Panama time), which will be broadcast live through its official YouTube channel. During the day we will explain the news of the call, the participation requirements, the operation of the digital platform and a question and answer session will be held.
The aids available for 2026-2027 are as follows:
Creation aids at residential level with up to EUR 10,000.
Aid for co-production of performing arts with contributions up to EUR 15.000.
Support for the Programming of Scenic, Festivals and Markets with a maximum amount of EUR 20,000.
The new information from this call includes the incorporation of performing markets into the Programming line as well as an assessment of the path of applying people and organisations as an appraisal criterion. Also, the Creation in Residence line will allow for the inclusion of costs associated with national artists and an extension of opportunities to support the sector.
The applications are open until 23 July 2026 at 12: 00 noon in each Member State and have to be made through the Iberescenna digital platform.
The projects selected will be announced by December 2026 and will have to be implemented between January and December 2027.
