Panama June 6, 2026. More than a thousand hearts once again delight and conquer the public during the second edition of "A thousand Hearts, A Mission," the great national meeting that marked the start of celebrations for the 10-year Network of Orquestas and Children's and Youth Chors of Panama.

For five days, children and youth from all the provinces have been participating in training and cultural exchange sessions at the City of the Arts, culminating with an emotional concert at the La Salle School's Gymnasium, where about 1,200 children and young musicians have been an extraordinary and orchestral group.

The Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera, highlighted the growth achieved by the program during this decade of work.
"It's an immense joy and pride to see how our Network has grown and how today our childhood and youth are united in a single heart to make art, exchange experiences and appropriate cultural spaces," she said.

The first chapter of the children's miniseries "Simón Bolívar" was also designed as part of the celebration, an production inspired by the life and legacy of the Liberador, created to bring new generations closer to the history and shared values of the region as part of the program undertaken by the Ministry of Culture and the Bolivarian Society of Panama.

The activity was held as part of the Bicentennial of the Anfictionic Congress of Panama and was attended by students from the National School of Music of El Salvador and representatives from El Sistema de Venezuela, strengthening the links of cultural integration.

Currently, the Network of Orquestas and Coros Infantiles and Juveniles of Panama benefits more than 8,000 students throughout the country, strengthening itself as one of the leading programs of artistic training and social inclusion promoted by the Ministry of Culture
