Panama February 25, 2026. On February 25, Panama commemorates the 101st anniversary of the Dele Revolution, a historic gesture that marked the defence of the identity, autonomy and culture of the Guna people and as a fundamental milestone in the construction of respect for the native peoples within the Panamanian nation.

Since the beginning of the month, the country has been a stage of indigenous expression through academic forums, crafts workshops, dialogues and traditional dance meetings.

The most representative point of this program was found last weekend at Urraaca Park, during the celebration of the Riba Bila, a cultural space that moved the region's cosmovision to the centre of the capital.

The activity was organized by the community group Aili Kalu, with the collaboration of the collective environment Yargi TV, bringing together hundreds of assistants who connected with the legacy of the heroes of 1925 through dramatizations, ancestral dances and traditional artistic expressions.

The agenda includes historic reflection sessions, community parades and artistic performances in Panama City, Panama West and Colón that seek to reaffirm Guna autonomy in the urban and regional context, leading the message of revolutionary gesture to new generations.
