Las Tablas, 9 February 2026. - The heart of the Panamanian folklore beats more strongly this week. The Belisario Porra Museum opens its doors to an exhibition that promises to transport visitors directly to the luxury and tradition of the Porra Park: the show "Polleas, Tembleques and Photographs of the Tableño Carnival."

Under the management of the head of the museum, Rosa María González, this exhibition pays tribute to the most iconic festivity of the region. The central piece of the sample is an invaluable collection of dresses that have been given by several carnival queens, pieces that have dazzled in the past and that today allow us to appreciate closely the artisan work that defines this party.

At the exhibition we found dresses used by several queens, gala tights, tremks, clothing and a photo chronology that tells about the joy of this party. It's an opportunity to highlight the aesthetic and symbolic wealth of a tradition that is the backbone of the Santeño cultural heritage.

"It's a unique opportunity to closely watch the evolution and details of the outlays our queens have been proud to wear," emphasized the museum's management.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 3 to 13 February and will become an obligatory stop for locals and tourists wishing to connect with the Carnival's root before the boxes and drums are taken to the streets.
