Panama, October 6, 2025. - The "Toro Itinerante de Pucará: Ambassador of the Peruvian Altiplano" at the Regional Museum of Veraguas will be held throughout October. The sample of ancient ceramics from Peru that was presented by Peru's ambassador to Panama, Mario López.

That cultural event forms part of the projects undertaken by the Ministry of Culture of Panama, through the National Director of Museums and in partnership with the Embassy of Peru. The exhibition represents a valuable opportunity to promote Andean popular art, cultural exchange between sister nations and strengthening the museum as a space for meeting, education and intercultural dialogue.

The exhibition was opened by the National Director of Museums of MiCultura, Raúl Castro Zachrisson, who emphasized that these initiatives strengthen brotherhood and promote cultural tourism by enabling Panamanian people to discover and enjoy artistic expressions from other countries.

The activity aims to bring visitors closer to one of the most representative manifestations of Andean culture: the Toro de Pucará, seen in South American countries as a symbol of prosperity, protection and good fortune. Each piece reflects centuries of history and crafts, passed from generation to generation in the region of Puno, Peru.

The free entrance exhibition will be available to the public from Tuesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is located opposite Juan Demostenes Arosemena Park, second street, Santiago de Veraguas town.
