Panama City, October 4, 2025. - In the framework of the centennial of the 1925 Dele Revolution, the French Alliance of Panama presented the exhibition "Dele Revolution with a Women's face," a photo show by Guna artist Lois Iglesias, who celebrates the strength, wisdom and legacy of the women of the Gunadule people.

The exhibition, open to the public from 3 October to 15 November 2025, offers a visual tour that links the ancestral memory with the present, highlighting the fundamental role of grandmothers and girls in the cultural and spiritual preservation of the Dele people.

"I wish first to thank the French Alliance for its generous support for this exhibition. Her commitment to cultural diversity and recognition to the Guna dele people, who have allowed this demonstration to flourish as a space for meeting, dialogue and celebration of our identity," Lois Iglesias expressed at the opening.

The photographer, native to Ailigandé (Guna Yala) and with nearly two decades of trajectory capturing Panamanian cultural life, explained that "Dele Revolution with a woman's face" is a tribute to the women who have worked with resistance from day to day.

"The grandmothers, with their competent hands and wise hearts, have passed on love for our community and Mother Earth. At every level, at every song, at every dance, at every production of the pele masi, they have reaffirmed the being Gunadule that defines us."

The exhibition also reminds women who faced violence and cultural imposition during the Dole Revolution, recognizing their courage as a seed of freedom that today flourishes.

The project has been supported by the French Alliance of Panama, General Guna Congress and the Mola Museum and forms part of a cultural program that includes workshops, talks, projections, artistic and performing tours dedicated to the legacy of women in the history of the Dele Revolution.
