Colón was the stage of a special meeting with the five Latino drivers of the "unequal TV" program of the Univision network, who lived closely with the cultural and gastronomic wealth of the province.

The visit included his participation in the event "Forum for Women," moderated by the director of the Colón Center for Arts and Culture, Abel Aronátegui, where more than 250 people among trade unions, social organisations and youth from schools and schools met to share ideas and experiences.

Prior to the event, presenters and some of their production equipment enjoyed a tour of Afro-panamaic cuisine, tasting the delicacies of the steamed octopus, coconut and fish and other typical Caribbean sauces.

One of the most exciting moments of the day was when each of them saw the pollera congo, a symbol of our Afro-colonial identity, thanks to the guide of the Panamanian folloclist and historian Ernesto Polonso. The drivers expressed their joy and enthusiasm as they felt identified with the strength and color of the congo tradition.

The Secretary General of MiCultura, Ivis Moreno, and his representative of the Ministry of Culture, have been with them and emphasized the importance of these spaces to project Panamanian cultural diversity and to strengthen links between communities and international media.
