Panama City, August 30, 2025. - The Ministry of Culture invites the public to enjoy a diversity of cultural and artistic programs throughout this weekend and what remains of August at different locations throughout the country. Music, theater, dance, exhibitions, fairs and festivals are part of an agenda that promises unique experiences for the whole family.

On 30 August, the offer includes the pollera Expo at the City of Knowledge, the Folk Festival Rescatting Traditions at Juan Díaz and the Open Microphone Night at Café Unidad, Via Argentina. There will also be a guided tour at the Arteconsult Gallery, the production of the documentary Disco Afrika at Casa del Soldado and the challenges of the Reunion Salsera 2025 at the Megapolis Convention Center.

The Canal Museum opens its doors with an immersive tour of the history of Panama and its Canal, through sensory, interactive and exciting experiences that revive the most important moments of our history in the voices of its leading people: visionaries, procebres, heroes and advocates of national sovereignty.

On August 31, the Casco Antiguo will be filled with life with the Peatonal Hide, which will offer free activities in its squares, as well as with the opening of the Toros de Ididad Panamanian exhibition at the Company of Jesus.
The Mola Museum will conduct creative workshops for the whole family, while the Free Culture Festival at Barrio Casco will bring together art, music, urban expressions, entrepreneurs and crafts. La Ballena will be held at the National Theater.

That same day, at different squares at the Casco Antiguo, attendees will also be able to enjoy activities such as the Reines Topon, bazares, La Calle Latina, Folklore Fest and La Rocha del Café among other activities.
The Old Panama Foundation will have an Open Day at the Old Panama Archaeological Site from 8: 30 a.m. with free entrance for nationals and residents.

The program will continue in September with salsa classes at Colón, special presentations at the Icarus Panama Central American Film Festival and free projections at University Cinema
