Panama, August 27, 2025. - Panama was the guest of honor to the event Bolivia Lab 2025, cultural activity that forms part of the celebrations of the Bicentennial of Bolivia.

Bolivia Lab is a training platform that strengthens the meeting and development of the Ibero-American film industry to strengthen partnership and strategic alliances in the region that offer spaces that include specialized accompaniment at the stage of script, development, after production, distribution and display.

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Arianne Benedetti, who represented Panama at this celebration, also received an recognition for his course in the field of cinematography. For his part, Panama's ambassador to Bolivia, Julio Luque Ferro, highlighted the progress of Panamanian cinema and the opportunities that Panama offers as a natural and logistic stage for international production. "Panama doesn't only have stories, but also offers the world an open to talent with unique landscapes and opportunities for those who dream about projecting their cinema globally," said Luque.

To participate in these platforms has been an opportunity to enhance emerging and seniors talents that have already had projects in fiction, documentary, animation and audiovisual innovation (series, transmedia, virtual, increased and immersive reality). Also, it promotes opportunities for co-production and strategic alliances among participating countries, strengthening exchange for production and cultural development in the region.
