Panama City, August 7, 2025. With 15 workshops and 15 presentations on its agenda, the National Dance Meeting will be dedicated to artists, groups and the public.

From August 10 to 31, 2025, this annual event will bring together interpreters, choreographers and trainers in strategic spaces such as the City of the Arts, the Balboa Theater, the Colón Center of Art and Culture and other scenarios at national level with the aim of promoting the creation, circulation and enjoyment of dance.

Organized, convened and directed by the National Directorate of the Arts of the Ministry of Culture, the Reunion aims at promoting national dance mobility, recognizing emerging creators and encouraging intercommunal and interterritorial exchange.

"The National Conference of Dance forms a commitment by the Panamanian state to strengthening the sector, promoting the right of citizens to have access to quality artistic experiences," emphasized Carla Lozano, Cultural Manager and one of the organizers of this activity.

Through functions, workshops, laboratories, dialogues and residences, we propose to consolidate a dialogue between tradition, contemporaneity and innovation.

The first week of the meeting, from 10 to 17 August, will offer a diversity of programs that includes:

• August 10 - 4: 00 p.m.: a small extract from Inquietous Variations - Panama National Ballet (Herbert de Castro Auditorium) feature.
• August 10 - 4: 00 p.m.: Ash - Marlyn Attie (Herbert Auditorium).
• August 12 - 7: 30 p.m.: Fountains of Hope - Linkages Program (Balboa Theater).
• August 14 - 8: 00 p.m.: Vacuity - Adrian Morales (Balboa Theater).
• August 16 - 8: 00 p.m.: Seas - Company. Gramo Danse (Piazza Xielo).
• August 17th - 4: 00 p.m.: Final Caribbean Corps Sample - International residence (City of the Arts).
• August 17 - 5: 30 p.m.: Unusual Suspects - Evie Dimitriou (City of the Arts).
