30 July 2025. The Ministry of Culture announces a training program from 30 July to 3 August at the Atlapa Convention Center, at the National Crafts Fair 2025, for artisans, cultural entrepreneurs and the public at large.

The agenda includes 13 training activities between conferences, workshops and practice laboratories designed to strengthen knowledge in key areas such as electronic commerce, digital marketing, finance, personal brand creation and copyright, providing participants with tools to enhance their jobs and expand their outreach to new markets.

Highlights include the laboratories "Your Market is the World: How to sell in Amazon?" by Irving Herrera, who will share strategies for artisans to bring their products to global digital trade. Also, Gerardo Neugovsen will discuss how to live from talents and create a personal brand while Cristóbal Muñoz will offer guidelines about financial management and Aixa Díaz about digital marketing.

The program also highlights cultural identity and traditional knowledge with spaces such as "The Art of the Ancrectors: 2nd decade of Afro-descendants" with Krishna Camarena, "The Ancestral knowledge about Afro-descendants" with Ligia Grenald, "The Sense of Orality as Transmission of Ancient Know" with Carlos Fong, "The Atavio de la pollera Veragüense" with Guadalupe Cantizales, and "The Art and Clothing of a Clothing" with Bolívar González.
In addition, workshops will be held to regulate the Tenth Act and to discuss Panamanian Cumbia and its challenges and to strengthen knowledge and valuation of cultural heritage.

These training sessions will be held at different time ranges at the fair and represent a unique opportunity to learn, upgrade and connect the artisan tradition with the demand of today's market.

The invitation is open to all interested with strengthening their projects and with new tools for the development of Panamanian crafts.
