The Ministry of Culture invites the whole country to be a part of the XLV National Crafts Fair, the greatest meeting with Panamanian tradition and creativity, with the motto "Heritage: Ancestral Know-how" to be held from 30 July to 3 August at the ATLAP Convention Center.

For the first time, the fair will have 643 officially selected artisan, elected from 741 proposals received, and strengthening this space as the largest display of the national artisan sector.

The artisans from all regions of the country, from Bocas del Toro to Darién, passing through the region Guna Yala, Coclé, Chiriquí, Los Santos, Colón, North Panama, Chepo, San Martín, Veraguas and San Miguelito will fill with color and tradition every corner of the fair.

The artisan artists will be offering unique pieces representing decades of history and inherited knowledge. From pottery, ceramics, leather and textiles to carved wood, natural fibres, jewelry, artisan cosmetics and crafts, every creation attests to the ingenuity and dedication of those who keep Panama's cultural identity alive.

The 2025 edition highlighted the strength of women in crafts with 494 women and 149 men who with expert hands transformed materials into true works of art.
A special moment will be the surrender of the San José 2025 Decor to the master of art Gloria Lina Hernández, on Wednesday 30 July at the opening event.

Hernandez will be recognized for his outstanding trajectory in the production of traditional Panamanian hats and his invaluable work as a transmitter of ancestral knowledge.

That distinction, awarded annually by the Ministry of Culture, recognizes the excellence and cultural value of artisan work in Panama.
It will be an inclusive experience for the whole family, with workshops where you will learn traditional techniques, artistic presentations and the delivery of the St. Joseph's Decor, that pays tribute to our Artisan Teachers.

The attendees will enjoy a program full of culture and tradition: area of display and sale of crafts, a gastronomic corridor with typical flavors, training, attists and the innovative Digital Passage to walk every corner of the fair.

The general entrance cost is B / .3.00, Retirees B / .1.50 and children under 12 come in free! We are expecting them!
