The first meeting of Gamas Artists "Morguinnid: The memory of the Guna people" was held on Saturday, April 26, with the support of the Ministry of Culture.

The day was attended by fashion designers, theatologists and writers as well as an interactive stand and creative workshops in foami, painting of mobles, crafts and guna cuisine. Also, spaces especially designed for children with drawing workshops and artistic activities were offered.

The main aim of this meeting was to promote and visualize the talent of the gunas artists, through an exhibition of works of painting, photography and crafts, in an atmosphere open to all public.

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Arianne Benedetti was present at the cultural event, where more than 700 people met. "I'm excited to have shared with you this day all traditions, gastronomy and dances. I hope that this will be repeated and that more people can enjoy this event. That's what we want: more cultural promoters from each of the regions that take their projects and get them out."

The event was held at the City of the Arts, at its main gallery, where a conversation with Guna women was also held and their story was shared within the framework of the 100-year Guna Revolution. Also, works by Guna writers were put forward and a reading circle dedicated to his literature was organized.
